Alien Earth Observation Review

 Overview

Alien Earth's fourth episode really goes off the deep end with strange additions to the Alien lore and plenty of "What?!" Moments, and raises an absolute ton of questions. But once again, Alien Earth is taking it's sweet time setting up, and this episode seems to be the worst yet.

Plot

Alien Earth's 4th installment is probably the oddest plot yet. It's broken up into 3 subplots. The first follows Wendy as she learns she can (Spoilers!) Speak to the Xenomorph, which is... odd. The second follows Slightly as Morrow manipulates him into something, what he does is yet to be seen, and the ethics of moving Kids into machine bodies.
Wendy being able to speak to the Xenomorph is both interesting and strange. There have been past mentions of Synthetics talking to the Alien in the novels, but it's still weird. This plotline may pay off in future episodes, but for now it doesn't make much sense and is extremely odd. The Slightly subplot is interesting and so far seems to be heading in the right direction. Slightly seems to have a target to implant with the Alien, and he has his motivation. it will be interesting to see where this goes in future episodes.
The other plotline really makes no sense whatsoever so far. Nibs is losing her mind, and more elements keep being introduced. The plot in this one is a muddled mess.

Characters

Character development is plentiful in this episode. Is that a good thing? Kinda. Some characters like the newly dubbed Isaac, have new development when they hadn't really had much before. Others like Slightly and Morrow have had a lot of development and aren't slowing down.

Kirsh still shows great development and the scientists also have character development, as does Kavilier. For yet another episode, Alien Earth's characters show great development and acting.  Joe, Morrow and Slightly seem to have the most development in episode 4. Morrow is doing whatever he can to get the specimens back and Joe and Slightly seem to be trying whatever they can to keep their family safe.
Alien Earth continues to have great characters, but not much action.

Verdict

Plot: 72

Well done, but strange.

Execution: 50

Arguably the worst executed episode yet. aside from the sheep scene.

Acting: 90

Great acting once again.

Overall: 70💥

The slowest and worst episode yet. Alien Earth needs to have a strong episode 5.

A Minecraft movie review

Overview A Minecraft movie should be retitled to "A MemeCraft Movie." The movie is severely damaged by its generic and uninspired plot, ridiculous acting, boring characters, and basically is just one big internet meme. And to make matters worse, the visual effects don't look as good as they should. Plot A Minecraft Movie suffers from a bland traditional action movie plot that feels incredibly rushed along. The plot follows Steve as he goes to a mine, finds an "orb" and goes to the overworld where an evil Piglin witch is trying to use it to destroy the overworld and Steve has to stop it with help from a bunch of forgettable characters from the real world. Before everything "Withers and Dies" The whole thing is paper thin. The Piglins All of the plot is predictable and so ridiculously rushed it's hard to tell what's going on. First there's one fight and then in 10 minutes Steve is running from a massive Piglin "Hog" with almost ...

Secret Level: Unreal Tournament: XAN episode review.

Pre-Opinion As someone who has never played Unreal Tournament (I was always a Quake guy.) This was still the coolest looking episode. Out of all the games in Secret Level I've only ever played Mega Man and DnD. But I went with UT first and I was not disappointed. Plot The episode begins with a Liandri corporation mining group booting up a Mech team. One green robot fails its startup process and must reboot. A nearby miner starts whacking the green robot with a wrench. This damages the robot and sort of unlocks his free will. Over time we see the green robot (Xan) Witness the Liandri corporation miners kill and damage the other robots. And Xan survives each workday. Until one day he decides to take action. Xan attacks the miner holding the controls for all the other robots and they fight back. The Arena of the Unreal Tournament. Xan and his mechanical allies destroy the mining outpost but are captured shortly after. We then see that Xan copied the robot control code and is ...
