Rogue one: a Star Wars story review

 Overview

Rogue one: a Star Wars story, is a prequel to Star Wars episode IV a new hope. it stars Jyn Erso the teenage daughter of the imperial scientist Galen Erso, this movie also stars Cassian Andor and his reprogramed imperial security droid, K-2SO together these three invade an imperial base and steal the death star plans.

 Story

Jyn Erso infiltrating the base
If you have ever seen Star Wars episode 7, this is a way better story then the reused plot in that movie. The story is phenomenal, with all of its incredible acting and battle scenes. there are some jokes too, with one of my favorite lines in the movie being "There were a lot of explosions for two people "blending in"."- K-2SO. One of the best parts in the movie is when they attack the imperial base on Scarif because of the amazing writing.
this scene is an incredible finish to the movie. Another one of the better scenes is the holy city scene where Jyn finds the recording of her father and Cassian finds the pilot who brought it. this scene is also where we find out K2 is an awful spy. another thing about it is this is when they meet Chirrut îmwe and Blaze Malbus.

Music

The score this movie is incredible as with all Star Wars movies. composed by Michael Giacchino the soundtrack is perfect for the Star Wars universe. some of John Williams classic tracks also were used in the soundtrack.

The characters

K-2SO

K-2SO prepares to fly to scarif
K-2SO or K2 is an imperial security droid reprogrammed by Cassian Andor to aid the rebel alliance in the fight against the empire.
he is played by actor Alan Tudyk and is a funny and serious character. he was originally supposed to be an anti c-3po, being just a black Protocol droid. he and Jyn meet early in the movie when he punches Jyn and says the line "congratulations, you are being rescued. please do not resist."  the two form a kind of friendship                                                                            throughout the movie.

Jyn Erso

Jyn briefs her troops on scarif
Jyn Erso (played by actress Felicity Jones) is the main hero of the movie. the first scene in the movie shows her as a young girl. in this scene we also have the first glimpse of the death troopers, when they kill her mother Lyra Erso. she has a grudge against them from the start. she was taken care of by Saw Gerrara, a veteran of the clone wars. her father Galen Erso created the death star designs.
Lyra gives Jyn a Kyber crystal

Young Jyn is played by Beau Gadson and is in the first scene of the movie when the imperial officer Orson Krennic comes to recruit Galen to create the death star. young Jyn hides while Krennic takes her father and kills her mother. she is later found by Saw Gerrara.

Cassian Andor

Cassian with the troops he has
gathered to fight on scarif

Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) is a rebel spy who is sent to rescue Jyn from an imperial prison transport. he is later sent to kill Galen Erso with Jyn who is unaware of this mission.  he eventually decides not to go along with this mission and later joins the assault on scarif. Cassian also reprogramed K-2SO on one of his missions. he is now the star of his own series called Andor.

Cassian, K-2 and Jyn sneak into the base and steal the plans to the death star. Jyn and Cassian then transmit the plans to rebel admiral Raddus.

Conclusion

Rogue one: a Star Wars story, is an incredible movie with an amazing cast, story, score and more. If you are thinking about watching this, do it now. it is a phenomenal movie.
Final score⭐: 9.3/10

Vampire Survivors Video Game Review.

Pre-Opinion Game's cover. When I first saw this game, I saw someone playing it on Xbox game pass. I though... "All you do is move. That looks like a very meh game." But when I saw a friend playing it on Steam Deck, I had a second thought. I was getting bored of Halo and already beat Half-Life, so I was looking for something to play. This was on game pass, so I gave it a shot. NOTE: Plot section is being left out. There isn't really any plot. Soundtrack Oh, the soundtrack.... it's really good. In its Steam trailer a reviewer says it's like popping bubble wrap to sick beats. This is pretty true. My favorite tracks are probably the Among Us ones. I really like the themes for the adventure levels and the early stages. I actually listened to the Among Us Polus Replica theme while writing this. The themes are all retro like going back to games like Castlevania (which influences this game A LOT.) But others are a bit more modern (Emergency Meeting) This soundtrack ...

Reformat!

I recently looked at this site and thought it looked... a little unprofessional. So, I reformatted it! What do you think? Also: I have come across a lot of times I wanted to write video game guides but could not do it on this page. But you can see where I pushed the barrier of "Reviews Blog." Portal Review

Pre-Opinion I HATE PUZZLE GAMES. Games like Tetris and the like can get repetitive and lame fast. But love FPS games. Portal is a little bit like both. I got it for... less than 1.98$ (23% off.) A friend of mine had bought it for his switch and had enjoyed the games. I purchased Portal a few Steam sales later.   NOTE: All screenshots are from my playthrough. Plot The Plot for Portal is actually pretty straightforward. A psychotic robot named GlaDOS has trapped you inside the Aperture Science Labotories and puts you through rigorous tests with the promise of cake. But the lore is INSANE. Portal probably has the biggest lore base in gaming. (Unless its Half-Life.)  An early test chamber with some turrets. The lore claims Chell is a survivor of "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day." Where legendary villain GlaDOS gassed the entire complex with neurotoxin. This was shown in Portal 2 from some creepy graffiti and a line from Wheatly. Afterwards GlaDOS took all the surv...
