Alien Earth Observation Review

Overview Alien Earth's fourth episode really goes off the deep end with strange additions to the Alien lore and plenty of "What?!" Moments, and raises an absolute ton of questions. But once again, Alien Earth is taking it's sweet time setting up, and this episode seems to be the worst yet.  Plot Alien Earth's 4th installment is probably the oddest plot yet. It's broken up into 3 subplots. The first follows Wendy as she learns she can (Spoilers!) Speak to the Xenomorph, which is... odd. The second follows Slightly as Morrow manipulates him into something, what he does is yet to be seen, and the ethics of moving Kids into machine bodies. Wendy being able to speak to the Xenomorph is both interesting and strange. There have been past mentions of Synthetics talking to the Alien in the novels, but it's still weird. This plotline may pay off in future episodes, but for now it doesn't make much sense and is extremely odd. The Slightly subplot is interesting...

Alien Earth Metamorphosis Review

Overview Alien Earth takes it's sweet time setting up its story. Episode 3 is another slower more story focused episode, with hardly any Alien action at all. However the stakes that episode 3 sets, are very high. NOTE: "Execution" section is being skipped as is the Soundtrack score. Plot Alien Earth's 3rd episode starts off with Wendy chasing down the Xenomorph. We see more of the Lost Boys, Wendy, Joe, Kirsh and Boy Kavilier. The episode is light on action but heavy on story setup. Kirsh analyzes the captive specimens after Boy Kavilier's science team captures them, Joe survives and is part of some strange medical experiment, and Morrow is up to suspicious activities. Alien Earth episode 3 is clearly gearing up for something big. Boy Kavilier and Kirsh examine a Xenomorph egg. Although we don't get to see what the episode is gearing up for, the final twist is a good one, and increases the anticipation for episode 4. Characters Episode 3 has an absolute ton ...

Alien Earth: Neverland and Mr. October Review: A (nearly) Perfect Organism

Overview When I had first heard of Alien Earth, It quickly moved up to the top of my most anticipated shows and movies. And after watching the debut episodes I can say it sure as heck doesn't disappoint. Alien Earth's first 2 episodes capture the Alien theme and the Sci-Fi Horror of the iconic franchise. Plot The first episode's Plot is extremely well done, and this carries on into the second. The beginning of the episode is placed aboard a Weyland-Utani Science Vessel transporting, you guessed it, dangerous specimens. This part is mostly setup and semi-explains what happens to the crew on this doomed vessel. Episode one is a lot more plot focused then overall horror.  The Hybrid Wendy at the Neverland research facility. The backstory of each character is also interesting. One of the main focuses of the plot is the "race for immortality" with Synths, Cyborgs and Hybrids all playing key parts in this series. Morrow is an interesting character who is the only surv...
